Sachs Out, Carter vs. Beebe at XFO 42
David Sachs is injured and has withdrawn from his XFO 42 fight, according to a tweet sent to Chicago’s MMA by opponent Carson Beebe.
Beebe says his new opponent is Team Colon fighter Lloyd Carter, who cut his teeth as an amateur fighting for Fight Card and C3. As a pro, Carter is 3-2, with his last win coming over Wade Choate at TFC 17 in 2009, knocking out the veteran early in the second round
Carter most recently fought Danny Sykora at PC MMA 7 in Iowa, and was submitted via guillotine choke in the third round. His other pro wins came against Indiana fighter Darnell Davis and Michael Reyna, who he beat at C3 in February of 2009.
Beebe is coming off a stint on the UFC’s “The Ultimate Fighter” show, where he lost in his first bout to semi-finalist Johnny Bedford. Since then he’s scored two straight wins, beating Matt Wikoff via submission at Rockford Cage Fights 51 and posting a unanimous decision victory over Danny Aguirre at Chicago Cagefighting Championship IV. Beebe is 8-1 as a pro, his only loss coming in March to Team Top Notch’s Giovanni Moljo.
XFO 42 takes place Saturday, December 10th at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates. For tickets vist XFOMMA.com.

XFO 42 - December 10th 2011 Live MMA Action from the Sears Centre
XFO 42 will be taking place on Saturday, December 10th from the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The night is scheduled to feature fourteen professional mixed martial arts fights in addition to a handful of amateur action. Leading the way on the professional side of the card is a catchweight bout between Carson “Lil Juggernaut” Beebe and Dave Sachs at 140lbs.
Beebe recently signed to fight for the Texas based Legacy Fighting Championship but wanted another fight in his hometown of Chicago before he entered the cage in the Lone Star State. Beebe made a push on his social networking sites to get as many people as possible to spread the #getCarsonXFO tag. The message worked as he is a late addition to the impressive lineup for XFO 42. Joey Diehl’s Monstrous Gash at XFO 41
XFO 41 - Chicago MMA FIghts -Outdoor War 7
We saw the post-fight pic of Joey Diehl on the Suckerpunch Facebook page
There was one comment that summed up the picture: It looks like Eyebrow exploded.
It also looks kind of like a fishing lure, Or the Rolling Stones logo. It’s kind of like looking
at a cloud – Stare at it long enough and you come up with all these different things.
The good news is that the pain is not in vain. Diehl got the win via submission over Josh
Epps with a triangle choke hold.
